"The Sicilian" - Post Reading Comments

"So die all who betray Guilliano."
One of my most favorite line from Mario Puzo's "The Sicilian" which tells a story about the Sicilian Robin Hood, Salvatore Guilliano.

He died, betrayed by his most trusted friend, Gaspare "Aspanu" Pisciotta. And do you know what's the last thing he said?

"Aspanu, I believe."
It's beautifully written. Honestly, it brought tears to my eyes and I felt pride for being alive. Even if I'm only thirteen going on fourteen. It's better to remain alive and live a fruitful live, than die and be a hero.

Overall, the story gives a more insight view on why Puzo often refers Sicily as a land of treachery; where in a treachery there's a more treacherous one inside.

Yeah, go read this one! It rules. Official sign by Great Lord Tian xD
