Note: MelloNear. 'Every boy, he said, has a little sweetheart.' That quote was from Joyce's 'The Encounter'. And that quote, and spring too, will always remind me of this story. I remembered painting a tree, I want it gold and yellow, shining in all its glory. Somehow it reminds me of innocence, childhood innocence that was written like a poem in this story.

You know that since the beginning there's always a possibility of them being together just as a replacement for Mello, but in this fic they didn't take it that way. They thought of each other as a different being than the blond, and that's why their memories of the other lingers.
